Pro Luster has a little bit of a sheen to it, while matte wont reflect any lights making the photo always visible. Luster will also keep blacks true, the matte paper likes to soften/lighten the blacks, almost like a faded look.
The higher the quality of the upload, the higher the quality of the printed photo.
